Layering images of people and cityscapes, Nancy uses printmaking and painting to explore society and the human condition. Fine details draw attention to the humanity of her figures while angular lines deconstruct the architecture of the city. By altering the traditional perception of space and scale, Hanada questions the role of humanity in the increasing urbanization of society.
